Managing Arabic and English conversations at scale
What multi-language support actually requires operationally, from templates to team workflows.
Supporting two languages well is less about translation and more about operational design. Message templates need approved versions in each language, automated flows need to detect or ask which language a customer prefers, and teams need a way to route a conversation to someone who can respond fluently in it.
A common mistake is treating one language as the default and the other as an afterthought, leading to inconsistent tone or slower responses in whichever language wasn't prioritised. Designing both languages as first-class from the start avoids this.
For teams, having language noted clearly on a customer's profile (rather than relying on whoever answers first to figure it out) keeps handovers between agents smooth.
